Common questions

Honk! doesn't hear our answers

Check that Honk! is allowed to use the Microphone and Speech Recognition in iOS Settings → Honk!. Shout clearly after the host finishes the question. Loud music or open windows make it harder. If it still can't hear you, tap the answer on screen instead.

Is it safe for the driver?

Honk! is made to be played by voice, so nobody needs to look at or touch the phone. The driver should only ever listen and shout. Mount the phone or let a passenger hold it, and always follow your local road laws.

Name That Song doesn't play a song

The clips are Apple Music previews and need an internet connection. If you didn't allow Apple Music access, turn it on in iOS Settings → Honk!. A few songs may not be available in every country. Honk! skips those.

When does the Daily Honk change?

A new Daily Honk opens every morning at 06:00 in your own time zone.

I bought the Honk! Pass on another device

Open Settings in Honk! and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the same Apple ID. The Pass is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too: visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
